AvidXchange was named a winner of the “Fire Awards” hosted by Charlotte Inno, a Charlotte Business Journal affiliated outlet and the neighborhood’s source for news about local innovation.
Charlotte Inno’s Fire Awards recognizes 50 of the Queen City’s startups, tech firms, and organizations that are “on fire.” From pre-seed-stage startups to multibillion-dollar tech firms, the Fire Awards are a peek at what set these companies ablaze over the last year — things like new funding rounds, product launches and pandemic pivots that not only saved the business but benefited customers along the way. They’re companies that have expanded, inked major acquisition deals, and started the sometimes-uncomfortable journey toward equity and inclusion. The list was compiled through a combination of public nominations, expert input, and editorial coverage.
AvidXchange is featured in the “Fintech” category as one of four local companies to have reached unicorn status, as well as in the “Community Builder” category for the company’s recent donationof a 3D printer to the Atrium Children’s Hospital in partnership with the Dottie Rose Foundation and Code Ninjas.
