AvidXchange™ Adds Strategic Leaders to Support Supplier Offerings

September 6, 2016

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (September 6, 2016) – AvidXchange™, leading provider of accounts payable and payment automation solutions for midsize companies, announced today that it has added two strategic leaders to support and innovate the experience and offerings for the company’s growing supplier network. Serdar Dincaslan, a seasoned financial services executive, will be joining AvidXchange as the Senior Vice President of Supplier Financing Offerings, and Henry Ijams, former Managing Director of PayStream Advisors, will be joining AvidXchange as the Vice President of Product Management for Supplier Solutions.

AvidXchange has been experiencing phenomenal growth over the last several years, and now helps more than 6,000 midsize companies revolutionize the way they pay their bills. A key part of AvidXchange’s customer ecosystem is its customers’ suppliers. AvidXchange has more than 300,000 suppliers in its network today that either submit invoices or receive payments through the network. The company has always been extremely customer-centric, and focused on delivering cutting edge solutions to change the game. With the growing supplier network that AvidXchange is serving, it has created new offerings to support this base. These offerings include a portal and payment advancement feature, called Invoice Accelerator, which empowers suppliers to receive electronic payments sooner on approved invoices. To support these new offerings and the supplier base, AvidXchange has added a number of strategic roles, and now has nearly 70 employees on staff dedicated to suppliers.

Serdar Dincaslan and Henry Ijams are two resources that AvidXchange is bringing on board to serve in these strategic roles. They will be working together closely to ensure that AvidXchange is delivering the right offering for the right supplier to further expand its footprint into the market of approximately 3M suppliers in the US today. Serdar will bring 20 years of credit and financing knowledge to help build supplier financing solutions. As AvidXchange’s ecosystem of suppliers continues to grow, Serdar will lead efforts to continue to drive supplier adoption of Invoice Accelerator, as well as work with existing teams to define new financing solutions that enable suppliers to have an optimal experience for when and how they receive payments.  As the Supplier Offerings leader, Henry Ijams will be focused on delivering new products and services that best serve suppliers. Henry will lead the strategy and delivery for solutions such as Invoice Accelerator and the Supplier Portal to ensure AvidXchange is delivering value that improves the lives of suppliers through new and innovative products.
